Wildfire burns through forests on Tenerife island
A wildfire in the northern part of Tenerife island, affecting parts of the municipalities of Arafo and Candelaria, was approximately 130 hectares in size.
According to the local authorities, it is a "complicated" area, and the main goal is to slow the advance of the fire towards inhabited areas. A number of villages have been evacuated as a precaution.
