NBA: Miami Heat 78-95 Boston Celtics

The Miami Heat have suffered their 2nd loss of the season after going down 95-78 against the Boston Celtics at home.

The hosts took the opener with 6-point margin. But the struggling Celtics made a huge lead in the 2nd quarter after smashing the Heat 33-9 to take an 18-point lead at the end of the 1st half. It was a close contest after the break as the game was tied at 24-apiece at the end of the 3rd quarter. The Heat, however, took the final with a single point advantage, but the deficit was too large for them to overcome as they eventually lost the game by 17 points. With the result, the winning streak of the Heat has been snapped after 5 matches and they dropped to 2nd in the Eastern Conference standings.
