In pics: Iranians flood polling stations from early hours of voting

Iranians rush to the polls nationwide on Friday to choose a new president from among four candidates. Long queues were formed outside polling stations even before 07:00 a.m. local time, when voting began. Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei was one of the first to cast his vote in the country’s 13^th presidential election and three other elections. Iranian news agencies provided many photos of the polling stations in the early hours of the voting process. Have a look at the selection below.
