In pics: Iranians flood polling stations from early hours of voting

Iranians rush to the polls nationwide on Friday to choose a new president from among four candidates. Long queues were formed outside polling stations even before 07:00 a.m. local time, when voting began. Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei was one of the first to cast his vote in the country’s 13th presidential election and three other elections. Iranian news agencies provided many photos of the polling stations in the early hours of the voting process. Have a look at the selection below.
