Top-seeded Stefanos Tsitsipas has battled past Felix Auger Aliassime in three sets to reach the semi-finals of the Mexican Open.
Tsitsipas dropped his opening serve but clawed back with a break before reeling off the last 6 points of the opening set for a 7-5 win.
But, the World's No. 5 could not carry the momentum into the second, going down an early break and relinquishing the set at 6-4.
Still, back-to-back double faults from Auger Aliassime in the decider proved costly as Tsitsipas broke him for 5-3 and served out the match in the next game.
The Greek star will next play Italian teenager Lorenzo Musetti for a spot in the Mexican Open final.
