Hundreds of trucks were still stranded at the English port of Dover on Sunday trying to cross the Channel into France.

They have been stranded for days because of restrictions regarding coronavirus testing.

More than 4,500 lorries did get clearance on Friday, but the backlog remains.

Ferry services between Dover and the French port of Calais resumed on Thursday, ending a blockade France had imposed for several days following the discovery of a new coronavirus variant in England.
