Wolverhampton have made a great comeback to beat Chelsea 2-1, preventing the London Blues to lead the Premier League.
After a goalless 1st half, Chelsea broke the deadlock just 4 minutes after the break when Olivier Giroud netted with a cool volley from close range. The hosts then got the equalizer, thanks to a brilliant solo effort by Daniel Podence in the 66th minute.
Then Portugal striker Pedro Neto scored a last minute winner, condemning the Londoners to their 2nd defeat in 4 days. With the result, Frank Lampard’s team slipped to 5th in the standings with 22 points, while the Wolves sit 10th with 20 points.
