Iran's Team Melli have enjoyed a 2-nil victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo.
After a goalless first half, the Iranians managed to get on the score-sheet within a minute after the break, as Kaveh Rezaei tucked in a precise left-footed strike into the bottom left corner.
21-year-old Mehdi Ghayedi came off the bench to double the lead for Team Melli in injury time, after finishing off a perfect teamwork, with a lovely control, and a powerful shot past the keeper.
It was Dragan Skocic’s second game in charge, and has now made it two wins out of two, after a 2-1 win against Uzbekistan back in October.
The Team Melli have been preparing for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, where they sit third in Group C, behind Iraq and Bahrain.
