Chelsea has made a winning start to its Premier League campaign with a 3-1 victory at Brighton.
German striker Timo Werner won a 23rd-minute penalty after being brought down in the area, and Jorginho coolly converted the resulting spot kick.
Brighton drew level in the 54th minute, when a strike by Leandro Trossard from 20 meters found its way into the net.
But after two minutes, Reece James put the London Blues 2-1 up with a spectacular strike into the top corner.
Kurt Zouma added the 3rd in the 66th minute as his tame attempt took a deflection off Adam Webster and sealed the three points for the London Blues.
