In this episode of "The Subcontinent" we will be talking about the skin color discrimination and the color-based insecurities left by the British colonialism in India; a colonial legacy which has made the local people believe that being white is a clear sign of beauty and on the other hand, dark skin means ugliness and low class.
We will also look into a lesser-known model for calculating the happiness of people, The Bhutanese special model known as "Gross National Happiness" or GNH, and whether it can be a suitable model for other countries to follow.
