The political situation in Yemen appears to be getting more complicated. Reports emerging out the country say South Yemen separatists have rejected the so-called Riyadh Agreement and resumed calls for independence.
The Riyadh agreement was signed by Yemens former President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi and United Arab Emirates-backed Southern Transitional Council (or STC) in the Saudi capital Riyadh last month. The deal was meant to include STC elements in a new cabinet. And according to the agreement, tens of thousands of UAE-backed southern forces were supposed to be placed under the control of Hadi government.
