The 11th intl. Kish Invex has once again brought together national and foreign business to invest in Iran's attractive market.

Around 300 Iranian and foreign firms active in areas such as banking, stock exchange, insurance and transport have put their services on display to either attract investors or find investment opportunities.

With a population of nearly 82 million, Iran is a country with numerous potentials for investment. However, the doors to this market were closed following the US unilateral pullout from the landmark nuclear deal reached in 2015 between Iran and the P5+1. Still, many countries would like to keep their business ties with Iran.

The Central Insurance of Iran is one of the co-organizers of this exhibition. It says it is ready to launch joint ventures with international insurance firms to compensate for the US punishments against companies that do business with Iran.

Organizers of this event say there's no ceiling for the volume of investment in Iran. They say banking restrictions is for now the only impediment for foreign firms. However, they believe there's always a way for any problem if there's a will.

Despite all the hurdles put on the way of foreign investment in Iran, the country's lucrative market keeps attracting its foreign enthusiasts. Organizers of Kish Invex say the large-scale participation of foreign businesses at this event attests to this enthusiasm and raises hopes that the horizon for Iran's economy is bright.
