Diego Armando Maradona has resigned as the manager of Argentinean Superliga Side, Gimnasia, after just 3 months in charge.
The Argentine legend, who'd taken up the position on the 5th of September, had signed a contract until the end of the season, but quit his job, reportedly due to the current club-president Gabriel Pellegrino's decision, not to run for re-election.
It’s also been said that the 59-year old Maradona, is dealing with some health issues, which might have played a role in his decision. Gimnasia enjoyed 3 away victories and 5 defeats during his 8 matches in charge.
That’s while, Maradona is already linked with a return to Mexico, to take the helm of ‘Dorados de Sinaloa’, which is based in the notorious city of Culiacan, better known as the heart of the Mexican cartel.
