Australian bicycler Caleb Ewan has won Stage 11 of the Giro d’Italia, while Italy’s Valerio Conti holds onto the Leader's Pink Jersey.

Ewan claimed his 2nd stage victory of the season, after a sprint finish, clocking 5 hours 17 minutes and 26 seconds, while Frenchman Arnaud Demare came in 2nd. Pascal Ackermann of Germany finished 3rd.

That’s while, Italy’s Valerio Conti remains at the top of the overall standings, with a lead of 1 minute and 50 seconds over 2nd placed Primoz Roglic of Slovenia, while Frenchman Nans Peters stands in 3rd. Stage 12 is the 1st day in the Alps, with a hilly 158km ride from Cuneo to Pinerolo
