Diplomatic row grows in Spain over Lopez refuge grant

Spain finds itself at the heart of a diplomatic row after Venezuelan opposition politician Leopoldo Lopez sought refuge in the Spanish embassy in Caracas. Madrid still maintains diplomatic relations with the government of President Nicolas Maduro despite recognizing opposition leader, Juan Guaido, as the country’s interim president.
