This program examines the Western ironical approach towards democracy in two oil-rich countries: Venezuela and Saudi Arabia.
The program will contrast Venezuela and Saudi Arabia’s different characteristics and how the West is ironically confronting them. The West is exerting pressure on Venezuela to push it towards what it calls democracy, this is while Saudi Arabia has the worst record on the issue.
