Juventus have suffered their first Serie A defeat of the season losing 2-0 to Genoa days after the Turin club's heroics against Atletico Madrid.
Ronaldo missed the trip to Genoa after firing Juve to the Champions League quarter-finals with a hat-trick over Atletico Madrid during the week. Former Juventus player Stefano Sturaro came off the bench to send Genoa ahead in the 72nd minute.
Goran Pandev who also entered the pitch in the second half, sealed the win 9 minutes from time to move Genoa up to 12th in the standings. Despite the loss, Juventus remain on track for an eighth consecutive title as they sit 15 points clear of second-placed Napoli.
