Venezuela's President Nicolas Maduro on Sunday rejected an ultimatum by the West to call early elections.
In an interview with CNN Turk, Maduro said opposition leader Juan Guaido has violated the constitution by declaring himself as Venezuela's leader. The Venezuelan president added that he was open to dialogue.He did not rule out meeting with US President Donald Trump who is spearheading calls for him to step down. Maduro also praised Saturday's UN Security Council meeting on his country, describing it as a great victory for his government.
