Come strong and go home
In this episode of Food for Thought, Zaid Shakir talks at the Muslim American Society and the Islamic Circle of North America 16th Annual Convention in Chicago.
Shakir emphasis that we are not going to let anybody turn us around and that is the attitude that you have to have. And that is the strong believer. No one is going to turn us around, Trump or no one else. We are going to keep on walking, we are going to keep on talking and making Dawah (call for truth), and defending our faith and standing up for our faith and let people know who we are and what we believe in. And we are going to march forward to the freedom land, which is paradise.
So, we have to be strong in our faith, strong in our knowledge and being intellectually strong. Strong in our soul and heart, spiritually strong. We need to build a strong bond to holly Quran, and remember more Allah. If we do this, systemically be able build ourselves at the time and step by step. This is the beauty of Islam, which is compatible with nature. The natural state of things. We need to come together and reinforce each other, and we will be strong to sweep some of the oppression, and some of the tribulation. We need to be strong believer and see Allah in our daily life and try to be competent humankind.
