Introduction of EU instrument to save JCPOA delayed

The European Union misses a self-imposed deadline to introduce an instrument designed to preserve the Iran nuclear agreement. The so-called 'Special Purpose Vehicle', which aims to facilitate trade with the Islamic Republic in defiance of US sanctions, was supposed to come into effect by year-end, but its introduction has been delayed.
