This program is about having resilience and hope in life by looking at Prophets lifestyle. We shouldnt play the victim in the face of difficulties. We should have hope in Gods mercy and be sure that whatever Allah grants is the best for us.
This episode is a brief section of Lobna Mulla speech at the Muslim American Society and the Islamic Circle of North America 16th Annual Convention in Chicago. She emphasises on how can we be contained with Allahs will?
Constantly within the realm of social media we are bombarded with images of peoples life styles, of things that they bought, of places that they go. We are bombarded with images of things that should buy or how we should look, how we should act, who we should be, what type of identity we should have. And we look at ourselves and we are comparing.
We are always in the state of comparison. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) reminded us of some amazing that is the key to our containment that we should look to not that have than more than us, but we should look to those who are less fortunate than us. Perhaps they have more hardships than us. Perhaps they struggle more than us. That is the key to containment.
We need to implement what Allah asks of us. This is extremely important. Because if we dont, we easily fall into victim mentality. I ask all of you to be the one to always find a positive in everything and remember that Allah is the only one that grant to success
