Formula 1 championship leader, Lewis Hamilton, has led the way in the 2nd practice session at the Russian Grand Prix, while his title rival Sebastian Vettel finished 5th.
Hamilton, lapped Sochi's 5.8 km Olympic Park-circuit with a best time of 1 minute 33.385 seconds on Friday. The other Mercedes driver, Valtteri Bottash, finished 2nd only 2-10th of a second of the pace.
The Red Bulls of Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo were 3rd and 4th. With only 6 races and a maximum of 150 available points remaining, Vettel is running out of time to rein in Hamilton, who's 40 points ahead with 7 victories to his name this season, including 4 of the last 5.
Mercedes have won every Russian Grand Prix since the 1st in 2014, with Hamilton twice victorious and team mate Bottash winning last year.
