Nuclear-armed states urged to do more for disarmament

If nuclear-armed states are unwilling to give up their weapons, they could at least offer non-nuclear weapons states legally binding assurances not to threaten them with nuclear arms. This was one of the conclusions of an expert session in Vienna marking the International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons. Experts also discussed ways to work towards a nuclear weapons free zone in the Middle East. Homa Lezgee reports.
