Taliban attacks still prevalent 17 years after US invasion

17 years into the US-led invasion of Afghanistan, the war-stricken county is still the scene of deadly attacks mainly by the Taliban. The threat posed by Daesh is also looming despite the presence of tens of thousands of foreign troops.
