UEFA Nations League: France 2-1 Netherlands

The new World Cup winners France have started their UEFA Nations League opener with a 2-1 victory over Netherlands at Stade de France.

Les Bleus got on the scoresheet when the PSG striker Kylian Mbappe tapped home from close range Blaise Matuidi's cross on the 14th minute.

Ryan Babel leveled the match 1-1 for Holland from Kenny Tete's cross on the 67th minute.

Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud scored the winner for the hosts in the 75th minute with a brilliant volley from Benjamin Mendy's cross.
