US Open: Djokovic tops Nishikori, reaches final
Serbian tennis player, Novak Djokovic has advanced to the final after defeating Japan’s Kei Nishikori in straight sets.
The 2018 Wimbledon winner, Djokovic, dominated the match form the 1st set. He didn’t allow Nishikori to establish any rhythm and won the 1st set 6-4. The 13-time grand slam winner kept the momentum and ended the 2nd 6-4.
Then the Serb faced less resistance and comfortably won the 3rd 6-2 to finish the match after 2 hours and 22 minutes. Djokovic has reached his 8th US Open final and will meet Juan Martin del Potro of Argentina on Sunday at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
