General strike in Kashmir to protest journalist, civilian killings

Kashmiris have held a general strike to protest recent civilian killings in the Himalayan region. People are particularly perturbed about the murder of a prominent Kashmiri journalist. As our correspondent Syed Ali Safvi reports, the region’s pro-independence groups are now calling for an independent investigation into the journalist’s death.
