Australia and Denmark have fought out a 1-1 draw in their 2018 World Cup Group C match in Russia.

Denmark took the lead through Christian Eriksen after only seven minutes, but it was downhill for the Danes from there as the Socceroos won and converted a penalty through Mile Jedinak that was given with the aid of VAR technology.

Australia then dominated the second half, while Denmark struggled to create anything of note.
