Iraqi parliament calls for manual recount of election votes

Iraqi lawmakers are pushing for a manual recount of votes cast in the recent parliamentary elections. Alleged faults in the electoral process have prompted Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi to call for a probe into the matter. With parliament having one month before it expires, it remains uncertain whether the vote recount can be done.
