Iran automaker SAIPA unveils electric car

Iran’s second largest carmaker, SAIPA, has unveiled its first electric car prototype called Saina EV. The project was carried out through cooperation between the Iranian automaker's research and innovation center and the Mechanical Engineering Faculty of Tehran's Khajeh Nasir University of Technology. Our correspondent Farid Davarzani has gained exclusive access to the new model.
