Taiwan stages military drills amid tensions with China

Taiwanese officials say the live drills simulated a response to an invasion. The drills included P-3C aircraft and F-16 fighter jets. Tensions have been rising between China and Taiwan since Tsai Ing-wen from the island's pro-independence Democratic Progressive Party won presidential elections in 2016.
