A martial arts expert and a basketball freestyler stepped up to make Guinness World Records history in Hamburg on Thursday, as they attempted to break various world titles in unusual fields.

Taekwondo expert Muhamed Kahrimanovic, smashed 123 coconuts in one minute, as he cracked the previous record of 122 set by Abheesh P. Dominic of India.

Next up was baskeball freestyler Mehmet Kekec, who sought to break two records on the day. Kekec declared himself "satisfied" after succeeding in both, firstly topping the world record for elbow basketball spinning. The other record broke involved the help of a child, Hamdu Zabel, who balanced a spinning basketball on each foot whilst doing a handstand.

Kekec explained that he has already set his sights on next year stating that, "the next record will be the hand-spinning-basketball record," which he plans to enter along with his daughter.
