Doctor Adalberto Meneses has shown his collection of sculptures made from human bones at his Human Bone Museum in Lima, the capital of Peru.
Meneses fashions different shapes out of the bones to make decorative objects and even furniture, which he keeps on display at the museum.
The doctor did not seem in any way unphased by his deadly creations. "I respect that they have been human beings but they are still with me, they have never bothered me, they have never done anything to me, I have not felt anything, I live with them here, I have not had any inconvenience with them," he said.
The bones were given to Meneses as gifts from former students whilst he taught a course in human medicine at the Garcilaso de la Vega University.
