The violation of Lebanese airspace by Israeli fighter jets raises the probability of an Israeli aggression against Lebanon in order to “wipe out” the Hezbollah resistance movement, says an academic.

“I believe now that the Syrian crisis is about to be resolved, the situation in Syria is stabilizing, there might be an attempt by the Israelis, who will act upon the orders from the United States, to cause instability in Lebanon, to move this instability from Syria back to Lebanon as a way to jeopardize the situation of the Lebanese resistance because Israel is growing worried about the military potentials of Hezbollah,” Jamal Wakim, professor at Lebanese International University, told PressTV in an interview on Monday.
