Double rape of 14-year-old girl in Birmingham

This image released by police shows two British males arrested over suspicion of rape of a teen girl at a train station in Birmingham, Britain.

Two English men have been arrested while a third Briton is at large following the double rape of a 14-year-old girl in Birmingham.

The first rape incident took place after the victim was approached by two local men aged 35 and 27,  who led the teen to a secluded area of the station where she was raped by one of the men, British media reported on Friday.

After the girl was raped, she left the station in a disorientated state and was raped for a second time by a driver she had stopped.

Police are now looking for the man responsible for the second rape of the teen girl.

Detectives are continuing to appeal for information regarding the second rape which took place in the car.

DCI Tony Fitzpatrick from British Transport Police, said “I am still looking to hear from anyone who lives locally to Witton and saw a young girl walking by herself during the early hours of Wednesday morning. If you saw any vehicle or any person acting suspiciously then please get in touch as soon as possible.”

“Both these arrests relate to the first incident at Witton station on Tuesday evening this week. Our investigation into the second incident in the vehicle continues at a pace. The young victim was raped for a second time in a vehicle close to Witton station at approximately 2am,” he said.

The man sought over the second rape in the car is described as a thick set man, approximately 165 centimeters tall with large biceps.

The UK has been hit by a rise in criminal activities and violence.

The British law enforcement agency has launched Operation Spectre, in an effort to stem acts of violence.

The UK parliament has been informed about the increase and measures are being discussed and reviewed to help police manage the surge.

One solution suggested by officials has been to instruct judges to drastically increase offenders’ prison time.
