Iranian oil minister briefs lawmakers on Total gas deal

The Iranian oil minister has briefed lawmakers on the recently-signed deal with France’s energy giant Total to develop the South Pars gas field. During the parliamentary session, Bijan Zanganeh said each year of delay in developing South Pars can cost Iran up to five billion dollars. As our correspondent reports a commission has been tasked with overseeing the gas deal.
