Terrorists bent on stirring up sectarian war in Afghanistan

Over the past months, Afghanistan has witnessed a surge in Daesh terror activities, particularly in its eastern regions and even inside the capital Kabul. These attacks have mostly targeted Afghanistan’s Shia Muslims and their holy sites. Experts and Afghan people have called for vigilance, saying Daesh is seeking to ignite sectarian strife in the already war-torn country.
