A London based company which provides housing solutions for underprivileged people, is building a pilot 'super-budget hotel' in India’s Maharashtra state.
The firm is aiming to offer housing starting from just 2 USD per night and to use technology to provide residents with the services they need.

The 60-room hotel will offer rooms with LED lighting, a 100 square feet dining area, 2 sofa beds, a small kitchen setup with a sink, and a bathroom.

Electricity, water and gas will be charged on a consumption basis, which is expected to discourage wastage.
