Iran’s men's sitting Volleyball team have clinched the Islamic Republics’ 8th gold medal at the 2016 Paralympics by defeating Bosnia & Herzegovina 3-1.

The Iranians started the match as the better side and won the first set 25-21. But the Bosnians came back in the second frame and managed to tie the match at 1 apiece by taking the set 25-21.

The Persians, however, didn’t let their opponents go beyond that as they took the next 2 sets with an impressive scoreline of 25-18 and 25-15 respectively to hand Iran the gold. So with this triumph, the Islamic Republic finish in 15th in the standings with 8 gold, 9 silver and 7 Bronze medals.
