25,000 administrative detention orders issued by Israel since 2000

The Palestinian Commission of Prisoners’ Affairs says Israel has issued 25,000 administrative detention orders for Palestinians in the occupied territories since 2000. Today, 750 Palestinians are held under administrative detention, with 60 percent of them getting renewed imprisonment term in 2016. Press TV’s Mona Kandil has taken a closer look into Israel’s illegal detention policy.
