Turkey's AKP control extends to judiciary

Turkey's ruling Justice and Development Party has re-assigned nearly 4-thousand judges and prosecutors. The move is seen by many as yet another proof that the judiciary is not independent. The reshuffle also brings under the spotlight trials of members of the Gulen Movement and MPs, whose immunity from prosecution was recently lifted.
