Donald Trump’s blatantly “Islamophobic” ideas equip Takfiri groups such as Daesh with means to promote the idea that the attitude is inherent in the West, a political commentator suggests.
The US 2016 presidential candidate with such an “important” position is so “openly” anti-Islam; therefore, “what can we expect” from the rest of them, the Takfiris would argue, according to Chris Bambery talking to Press TV on Tuesday.
His comments were in regard to a response by London’ new mayor, a Muslim, to Trump’s anti-Islam stance.
Sadiq Khan has been engaged in a row with the billionaire real estate mogul over his “ignorant” views on Islam.
“By giving the impression there is a clash of civilizations, are you doing the job of Daesh and extremists for them by saying the West hates Islam,” Khan said on ITV’s Good Morning Britain on Tuesday.
Trump called for a complete ban on Muslims after a deadly terrorist attack by Daesh affiliate in San Bernardino, California, last December.
His stance “creates a sense of alienation among Muslims” in Europe and the US, Bambery said, further defending Khan, for putting his newly-achieved “position on the line” to defend Islam.
It should be noted that Trump’s narrative originates from the United States so-called war on terror that finally led to the rise of Takfiris in the region, said the political commentator.
Apart from Muslims, the controversial figure is also notorious among women, Hispanics, and African Americans for similar divisive comments.
