Shanghai mall unveils giant five-story slide

Shanghai mall opens new slide to entertain customers.

For anyone who has dreamed of a faster way down the stairs than the elevator or an escalator, this shopping mall in China has the perfect solution.

A five-story slide has been installed in the middle of the mall to entertain customers.

The slide looks like a twisting traditional Chinese dragon and it’s covered in colored flowers, stars and a variety of musical instruments.

It takes just 16 seconds to get down the slide from top to bottom. Now, the first brave visitors are trying it out before it officially opens to the public.

As of next month, shoppers visiting the mall will be able to use the slide free of charge. Both children and adults can ride it.

But they need to be at least three years old and over one meter tall to get on it.
