World’s largest passenger ship in Saint Nazaire

The world's largest passenger ship launched from Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard in Saint Nazaire, western France, on Thursday. The cruise liner is 72 metres (236 feet) high, the equivalent of a 20-storey building, and 362 meters (1187.6 feet) long. The ship can accommodate up to 8,500 passengers and crew members. 500 people are to be on board for the ship's maiden voyage to Southampton, which will test its maneuverability, propulsion, and sea-worthiness.
