MP accuses US, NATO of benefiting from poppy cultivation in Afghanistan

An Afghan lawmaker has accused the US and NATO of benefiting from poppy cultivation in Afghanistan. He believes that the US-led foreign forces hinder local efforts to fight drug trafficking in the country. Meanwhile, a new UN report has put the total value of drugs trafficked from Afghanistan to Western Europe at 28 billion dollars every year.
