Jordan's King Abdullah warns Israel against further provocation at al-Aqsa

The storming of the al-Aqsa Mosque by Israeli forces continues to draw condemnation with Jordan’s King Abdullah being the latest to deplore the aggression. King Abdullah has warned Israel against further provocation at the holy site.
King Abdullah made the comments during a meeting with visiting British Prime Minister David Cameron. He said any more provocation in al-Aqsa Mosque could affect relations between Jordan and Israel. He said Jordan won’t have any other choice but to take necessary measures. Jordan and Israel signed a peace treaty in 19-94. Meanwhile, the United States has reacted to the recent developments in Jerusalem al-Quds but stopped short of denouncing the storming of al-Aqsa Mosque by Israel. US State Department spokesman John Kirby condemned "all acts violence at the Muslims’ holy site". Kirby said the US is deeply concerned by the recent violence and escalation of tensions at the site.
