Many major cities around the world grapple with thick smog and harmful pollutants. A team of Dutch engineers has come up with an innovative solution to this issue.
Designers in Rotterdam have built the world’s largest air-purifier, called ‘the Smog Free tower’. It filters a massive volume of air, condenses the smog particles, and then creates a 'cube of smog' from every thousand cubic-meters-of-air it cleans. The structure is nearly 7 meters tall. The designers say they plan to tour the tower around other cities across the globe to help clean the air.
