Ethiopia marks start of new year

Saturday is the start of the new year 2008 in Ethiopia. The country uses the Julian calendar which is more than seven years out of sync with the Gregorian calendar used in much of the rest of the world. Ethiopians mark this day with a variety of ceremonies and festivities. Let’s take a closer look in this report by Press TV’s Coletta Wanjohi from Addis Ababa.
