Study: Long hours of working increase risk of stroke

Are you one of those people working long hours at office? Well, you may want to watch out now! .

A new study shows that workaholics face a higher risk of stroke. Researchers have looked at hundreds of thousands of workers from across Europe, the US and Australia with no history of stroke and tracked them for nearly eight years. The volunteers told researchers how many hours they worked per week. And it was found that those who worked 55 hours or more each week had a higher risk of stroke compared with those working a standard 35 to 40 hours week. What’s more, those who spent longer hours at work were also more likely to develop heart disease.
