Press TV has interviewed Chris Bambery, political analyst from London, and Maxine Dovere, journalist and political commentator from New York, to discuss Israel’s ongoing aggression against the Palestinian people.

Bambery says Israel has been created based on expansionism and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians, describing the regime as a “militarized” entity which instigates violence.

The Israeli regime is promoting violence against Palestinian citizens, he maintains, adding that Tel Aviv is trying to demonize the nation to pursue its expansionist policies in the occupied lands.

The illegal settlements are fortified zones for the Tel Aviv regime to control natural resources of the Palestinian territories and take the Palestinian people hostage in their own lands, the analyst argues.

Pointing to numerous attacks against the Palestinian people and their properties, Bambery says the Israeli authorities have done nothing to stop atrocities against them.

The weakness of Arab states in the region has emboldened the Israeli officials and settlers to commit any crimes against the Palestinians without fearing real backfire from the outside world, he warns.

For her part, Dovere is of the opinion that the Israeli authorities are trying to find the perpetrators of the fatal arson attack against a Palestinian family in the West Bank and bring them to justice.
