UN urged to save life of Palestinian hunger striking prisoner

The Chief of the Palestinian prisoners’ affairs committee has written to the UN and the Red Cross to warn about the health condition of Sheikh Khader Adnan who is incarcerated in Israel. His health has been deteriorating after almost 50 days of continued hunger strike in protest at the his illegal detention by Israel. The UN Secretary General is urged to intervene and force Israel to respect the UN charter and international human rights laws.
